Come and join us for a few hours in the woods this weekend.
We will be doing some more Rhododendron Clearance, continuing the great work from last month in Cannon Hill South.
No experience necessary, tools, refreshments and advice all supplied freely!
Sausages, Burgers and rolls at lunch time!
Suitable tasks for all ages and abilities (Children must be supervised by parents).
We will have a bonfire (Weather permitting).
Please take the terrain, weather conditions and possibility of sparks into account when considering what to wear.
As it is Remembrance Sunday we will be observing the 2 Minutes silence at 11am
If anyone has any wartime history about the woods, we would love to hear it!
We are working just off Uddens Drive (South of the A31. North from the Old Thatch).
We will be on site from 10am – 3pm.
In the event of extreme weather (particularly strong winds) we may need to postpone this task, so if in doubt please check the website or Facebook.
