February 2020 - Delayed by storms for a couple of weeks, but worth the wait!

Picture
Delayed for a couple of weeks due to the storms, we were finally able to get out for our monthly volunteer session.
It was definitely worth the wait!   The overnight strong winds eased off and apart from one shower the weather turned out to be pretty kind to us.  Even with the change of date, we were able to muster 15 volunteers, putting in from 30 minutes to 8 hours.
Will found a Buff Tail Bee, a sure sign that Spring is on it's way and it will soon be time to leave the heathland site until the Autumn.    There is still time to get involved though as our final session on the project is in just a fortnights time on Sunday 8th March.
Great to have another new volunteer too.... Welcome Giulia  😃
Also discovered today that 4 of our volunteers are currently taking environmental courses of some type (all different).  Really great to hear, given the current "climate".
