A small highly mobile team installed the last 5 benches for our perch bench project this morning.
All five went in to Uddens Plantation between Uddens Drive and the Police Station.
Only two are actually on the Castleman Trailway, so you may need to hunt for them a bit. There will be another three posh benches along the Trailway as part of the Great Heaths Project which is why we have avoided a couple of obvious locations.

We have decided to make a slight change to our monthly work parties.  In the past we have always publicised where we will be working to allow people to just turn up.  This means committing to location and sometimes task some months in advance.  Recently this has stopped us being as re-active as we would like with some tasks we wanted to complete.
Therefore as it is fairly uncommon for people to just turn up, we will be changing with immediate effect to the following -
Advance dates will still be published.
The week before we will confirm what and where the task will be.  We will publish the detail on here and email  all those who have asked to be on our work party mailing list.
Those wishing to come along then just need to let us know, so we make sure we have tasks and equipment ready for you.  Some tasks will be more mobile, so we may not be in the same place the whole morning.

The next three dates are as follows  (note we have moved the April date from Easter)-
Sunday 23rd April 
Sunday 7th May
Sunday 4th June
