An amazing 62 volunteer hours today pulling out Himalayan Balsam along Uddens Water.
We must have cleared thousands of these invasive plants today. A superb effort under pretty hot conditions!
Really lucky to see a White Admiral butterfly (see last 2 pics.... last pic massively zoomed in on phone camera).
As well as some regulars, we were delighted to be joined by 5 Dorset Wildlife Trust volunteers.
We also welcomed a new volunteer Kevin, who will hopefully return.....even after falling in the river :-)
