With funding from Waitrose Wimborne Community Matters Scheme, we have recently commissioned 20 new bird boxes for Cannon Hill South. On the left we have 4 open boxes, ideal for Robins. We have 16 boxes with a 32mm hole suitable for Blue, Coal and Marsh Tit, Great Tit, Tree Sparrow and House Sparrow to name a few.
We have fitted a protector made by one of our trustees to protect it from predators (Greater Spotted Woodpeckers and squirrels especially).
Would you like to adopt a bird box (as a family or individual)? For a "one off" donation of £5, you will have your name on the website with the location details of "your" box. If you box is used and we can identify the species, we will also list it on the website. Please donate online below or get in touch to pay by another method.
